PORTFOLIO

Here is my portfolio of some of the sites that I have created in the last three years.

Mind in Taunton and West Somerset
www.mindtws.org.uk
Mind in Taunton and West Somerset wanted their existing site completely redesigned in line with national Mind's new brand identity. The site contains a lot of information about the different services that Mind offers, but is clear to navigate so that visitors to the site can locate the information they need quickly and easily.

The Baby Moon -
North London Antenatal Classes

www.thebabymoon.co.uk
Rebecca and Mars run private antenatal classes and wanted a warm and friendly site to advertise their courses. The site includes lots of client photos and testimonials.
EndoGuildford
www.endoguildford.co.uk
Mark Bishop wanted a brochure-style website for his Guildford-based private endodontics referral service.
Mammy Doula - Mars Lord
www.mammydoula.co.uk
Mars wanted a welcoming website that was bright, colourful and warm, to provide information on her services as a birth and postnatal doula.  I used photographs of Mars with her family and warm pinks to create a helpful and informative site with a personal touch.
Classes at Treetops-Newbury
www.treetops-newbury.co.uk
Emily Storey of Treetops, Newbury wanted a website to display information about the cookery, watercolour, pilates and gardening classes she runs from her home in Berkshire.  She wanted a website that was a 'visual feast', so I used lots of her own photographs which makes the site bright and welcoming.
British Hedgehog Preservation Society
www.britishhedgehogs.org.uk
The BHPS website was in need of updating.  A modern site was created using lots of attractive photographs and colours that reflected their existing branding.

Walnut Corner Childminders
www.walnutcorner.co.uk
Kate Mason of Walnut Corner childminders wanted a website for potential clients to find more information about her in-home childcare based in Fleggburgh, Norfolk.  The site was based on Kate's own logo design, and pictures of children playing made the site fun and welcoming.
SK Fresh Say!
www.skfreshsay.co.uk
Basing the site design on publicity work by graphic designer Lionel Openshaw, the SK Fresh Say website was launched to coincide with the South Kilburn Youth Board project coordinated by South Kilburn New Deal for Communities.
Key Systems
www.keysystems.co.uk
Key Systems supplies bespoke software for the Outdoor Advertising Industry.  Their old website was outdated and they needed a fresh new look with information on their latest products.
Speechwriting Service
www.guyfaber.co.uk
Guy Faber writes speeches for weddings and other occasions, and wanted a website so that potential customers could find out more about the speechwriting service he provides.
22 Bondgate, Holiday Cottage in Helmsley
www.helmsleyholidaycottage.co.uk
The owner of a holiday cottage wanted an online brochure to provide information about his luxury holiday cottage in Helmsley, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors.  The site contains a photo gallery of the house and provides interested visitors with all the information they need about the cottage.

Young Mayor 4 Lewisham
www.youngmayor4lewisham.co.uk
I was asked to help re-launch the website for the Young Mayor of Lewisham, basing the site on existing designs and colour schemes.  The site included lots of features such as email forms and surveys, to enable visitors to interact with the site and offer immediate responses to content on the site.
Ali Jones
www.alijones.com
The FOX FM DJ Ali Jones wanted her portfolio to be available online.  She wanted a professional look to the site that made her site identifiable as belonging to the music genre.  A simple colour scheme of gray, white and black achieved a professional look and feel, while the use of bright pinks reflected Ali's own individual creative style.
Robyn Coetzee
www.robyncoetzee.co.uk
Robyn is a Bristol-based artist working with both beads and more traditional canvases. She wanted to showcase her artwork in a gallery-based website which also reflected her love of her native South Africa.  This was done through the use of a rich colour scheme, while retaining a contemporary feel through the use of white and gray for the larger areas of the pages.

Pieceful Quilting
www.piecefulquilting.co.uk
Pat Nicholls is a quilt maker and teacher based in Weston-super-Mare.  She needed her website re-designed from a basic site that was several years' old.  The site colour scheme was based around a recent favourite quilt.  A quilt gallery and 'shop' were created, to act as a showpiece for her work, including quilts and church banners.

The SUCH Project
www.suchproject.org.uk
The Service Users Complementary Holistic Project (SUCH Project) wanted a site that emphasised the holistic nature of their approach and promoted the health benefits of their therapies.  The site has a cool 'relaxing' colour scheme, reflecting the SUCH Project branding of red and pale greens.
www.suchproject.org.uk
Holy Trinity Church, Taunton
www.holytrinitytaunton.org.uk
Holy Trinity Church wanted a website that was welcoming and provided information about the church and the services it offers.  The site demonstrates the beauty of the church building, but focuses on what the church offers to the local community.
