Welcome to babyspiderwebs, the home of quick,
easy, cost-effective and professional websites. Please click on
the menu on the left to view the other pages on this website.
I am a freelance website designer based in Somerset, and
I create websites for businesses, organisations and individuals. I
work from home and offer a flexible, fast and personal service,
helping you to get your website up and running and available to your
customers, 24 hours a day.
A
website is now essential for all those who provide goods and services,
big or small. What many people don’t realise is just how cost effective a website
can be. If you want to create a new website or upgrade your existing
one to make it more professional and easier to use, then it can cost as
little as £250, about the price of producing a brochure.

Hosting
I will also arrange hosting services for you via a third-party provider.
Hosting charges are usually around £25.00 per year. There is also the cost
of buying your domain name, which is around £5.00 per year for a "co.uk" domain.
Maintenance & Other Services
I can also offer a maintenance service, updating and editing the text of your
website up to once a month. Other
services, such as design of company/ organisational logo for your website, can
also be provided for a small additional fee.
Credentials
I have over twelve years experience in designing websites, and I am
well informed about trends and developments in website marketing and
design. From 1997 – 2000 I worked as a Technical Support Manager
for an advertising company, providing technical support for their
website operation and consultancy for the design of their website.
Until 2001 I worked as a Project Manager for a London website agency
managing up to 10 websites at any one time. This gave me a thorough
understanding of the project lifecycle for a website, and an
understanding of how to match client expectations with websites
produced with their audience in mind.
For examples of recent websites that I have designed, see my
Portfolio page.
If you would like to discuss how I might be able to help you, see
the contact me page.
